Bolognese Sauce Recipe using our Jollof Sauce!
Ingredients
- 300ml Jollof Sauce
- 500g of minced meat of choice
- 1 medium Onion Chopped
- 2 Garlic cloves minced
- 200g Bacon Lardons (optional)
- Vegetables of your choice chopped
- Chilli (Optional)
- Cheese of your choice (Optional grated or block to grate)
Cooking Instructions
- Add your minced meat, lardons if using, onions, garlic and chopped chilli if using into a pan on medium to high heat.
- Stir as it cooks until the meat is browned off and the onions is softened and translucent.
- Empty the jar into the pan you can rinse out the jar with a little water to ensure you are using all the content of the jar.
- If using vegetables add now, mix gently, turn down the heat and let simmer for about 10 mins
- Turn off the heat, mix well and enjoy!
Note
For this recipe, we have used peas, sweet corn and carrots. You can also use some beans if you’d like or anything else you would normally. Serve with Spaghetti or your choice of pasta.
